What the job involved

Scope of work
- Remove existing storefront framing and glazing
- Supply and install thermally broken aluminum framing
- Glaze insulating units to the full elevation
- Hang and adjust a medium-stile entrance with closer and threshold
- Perimeter seal and final adjustment
What went in
Glass make-up
1 in. insulating unit — tempered outboard lite, low-E on surface 2, clear inboard
Framing system
2 in. x 4-1/2 in. center-set thermally broken aluminum, dark bronze anodized
Door system
Medium-stile aluminum entrance, offset pivot, surface closer, ADA threshold
What made it difficult
