Replacement glass is ordered to match the existing thickness and type as closely as the available product allows. Which glass goes in depends on the opening: safety glazing where the position requires it, and a new sealed unit in the existing frame where the frame is sound.

Yes. Multi-property work is normally set up with a single point of contact, written scopes and photo documentation per site so approvals and invoicing stay clean.
Can a scratched pane be polished instead of replaced?
Light surface scratching can sometimes be improved. Anything deep enough to catch a fingernail, and anything on a coated or tempered surface, is a replacement — polishing distorts the glass and can compromise coatings.
