Accessibility

Effective date: September 14, 2026.

This website is designed and built with the goal of meeting WCAG 2.1 Level AA. It has not yet been independently audited for conformance. That standard is about whether people can actually use a site — with a keyboard, with a screen reader, with low vision, or with a preference for less motion.

What is implemented

The colour system was designed and checked with contrast in mind: body text is intended to meet the 4.5:1 ratio, and large text and interface elements 3:1.
The site is built to be operated by keyboard, and the focus indicator is high-contrast rather than suppressed.
A skip link lets keyboard and screen-reader users jump straight past the navigation to the page content.
Headings are structured in order, with one H1 per page.
Landmarks, lists and other semantic HTML are used so assistive technology can navigate structure rather than guess at it.
Alt text is enforced by the build: an image with no alt value fails the build rather than shipping silently, and decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology rather than announced.
Form fields have visible, permanently attached labels. Validation messages appear next to the field they relate to, are linked to it programmatically, and are also summarised at the top of the form with focus moved there after a failed submit.
Validation feedback uses text, not colour alone.
Text scales and reflows, and zoom is not blocked.
Primary actions and the mobile action bar are sized for touch.

Reduced motion

This site uses animation deliberately. If your device is set to reduce motion, the animation is switched off — no parallax, no pinned scroll sequences, no transforms — and the animation code is not downloaded at all. The site remains complete: reduced motion is a supported mode, not a stripped-back version.

Without JavaScript

If JavaScript fails or is disabled, the site still works. Every page is delivered as complete HTML, the content is visible, navigation functions, and the phone number remains a working link. Forms can still be submitted, but the confirmation you get back is a plain server response rather than the usual on-page confirmation.

Current status

No independent accessibility audit has been completed, and testing with assistive technology has not been formally documented. The measures above describe how the site is built, not the outcome of an independent review. We keep reviewing the site and improving it, and a report from someone actually using it is the most useful thing we can get.
