When only the glass has failed
Broken panes, failed insulating units and scratched or vandalised glass are glass problems, not system problems. If the aluminum is straight and anchored, the frame stays.
The catch is that replacement glass has to be measured to the frame as built, allowing for the glazing pocket, the bite and the setting blocks. A pane cut to the drawing dimension will not go in.
Getting the make-up right
Matching existing glass means matching more than thickness. Tint, coating, whether it is a single pane or a sealed unit, and the airspace all affect how the new panel looks beside the old ones. A mismatched replacement in the middle of a storefront is obvious from across the street.
Safety glazing rules still apply to a replacement. If the original glass was annealed in a location that now requires tempering, the replacement goes in tempered.

If the opening is broken we board it up first so the building is closed overnight.

Measure to the frame
Daylight opening, pocket depth and bite recorded on site.

Order to match
Thickness, tint, coating and make-up matched to the surrounding glazing.

Reglaze
Old glass and stops removed, new setting blocks, glass set, stops and seals replaced.

Can you match glass that is no longer made?
Usually we can get very close on thickness, tint and coating. Where an exact match is impossible we will tell you before ordering, and we will normally recommend replacing a full bay rather than one panel so the difference reads as intentional.
How fast can a broken storefront pane be replaced?
Same-day board-up may be available depending on location, timing and site conditions. Clear tempered in common sizes is often a few days. Custom sizes, laminated and insulated units take longer because they are fabricated to order.
