P-01Scope, glass make-up and framing system to be published.
Service area — Baltimore City, MD
Baltimore City has more nineteenth-century commercial frontage still in daily use than almost anywhere on the East Coast. That is the defining condition of glazing work here: openings framed long before modern aluminum systems existed, in party-wall buildings that have settled, been altered, and been re-fronted more than once.

Party-wall buildings move. On a hundred-year-old frontage it is normal to find an opening out of plumb by an inch or more across its height. A frame ordered to the drawing dimension will not go in, and forcing it puts the glass under stress it was never meant to carry. Every opening gets measured at head, center and sill before anything is released to fabrication.
Older frontage tends to hide surprises behind the finishes — a filled transom, a lintel someone notched, an earlier storefront left in place and framed over. We open up enough to know what we are anchoring into before committing to a system.
Ground-floor commercial glass in a dense urban corridor takes more impact than suburban frontage. Where that is a recurring cost, laminated makes more sense than tempered — it stays in the opening when it is struck, which turns a break-in into a failed break-in.
Narrow sidewalks, permit parking and loading restrictions shape how a job actually runs downtown. Material staging and glass handling get planned around that rather than discovered on the morning.

Drawings, dimensions or a photograph on your phone — any of them are enough to start. If it is broken right now, calling gets a faster answer than a form.
